  I believe a growth mindset from the research I’ve done is a very good thing to have not only for life and from a long age but especially to have in studies and future careers. Instead of falling and believing a task can only be succeeded or failed in, I do believe it is better to have a middle ground where you can try and you can simply “not be there yet”. I like to think I have had this mindset for a long time, from a very young age and I like to believe it has helped me a lot dealing with stress throughout my life, I’m fact I’ve never really thought about it until now, I simply thought when I failed things I simply didn’t stress over it as much as others. I am very happy to be able to learn about this particular mindset as described by Carol Dweck throughout the year and learn more about me in the meantime!

 Hi  my name is Jack Roche and this is my introductory post for my Week 2 Website Design module. I am from Cavan, I am 21 years old, and I am very much excited to be in the CDM course. I don't have a favourite module however I am enjoying every module I have done so far equally and I am learning a lot as I go. Some of my interests are in video games, animation, technology, cycling and movies. I love retro video games from consoles, arcades and handhelds alike! I'm very interested in the evolution of video gaming over the years, I even own some consoles and the like that predate me simply so I can see what the first ever real 3D games look like, and where the Mario Bros franchise all began. I am also like, an encyclopaedia of knowledge on early gaming I frequently find myself having to rip myself away from YouTube video's giving me even more info!
