Class Assignments

 My thoughts on class assignments:

This course is broken up into a lot of little pieces that add up to make a lot of learning and fun, I feel this will lend a great helping hand in the furthering of my education and while completing every task possible is optional I plan to complete this course 100% (Hopefully I didn't just jinx it), I plan to charge head first into these extra credits tasks at the end of the week starting week 3 and I also plan to be able to draw every tool and learn every technique I can to create the best possible final project that I can.

When it comes to  assignments I am most intrigued by, I cannot wait to make a video game in Unity, like physically cannot wait, its still jarring to think about (I didn't think game design was an assignment I would face this year! I thought that was saved up for third year or something.) I have LONG had a huge love and passion for Video Games ever since my very first game (Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles port for Windows (XP/8 I am unsure what computer I played it on its a hazy memory), and I cannot wait to put the libraries of game knowledge I've stored over the years into practice!

When it comes to the work I will be doing in this module, this is nothing like I have ever done before, the closest I have ever come to making a video game is that one time I downloaded Unity onto my All-in-one i3 family PC (with no tower) and it crashed upon installation.... or that time I actually did make a game only in scratch while in secondary school. (It was kind of in the same style as Galaga but there were differences.) As for the extra credit options, the ones that grab my attention are the unity extra credit tasks,  they seem more like weekly challenges to me, something I am BOUND to complete. The Growth Mindset, Wikipedia trails, HEART and all other tasks feel like a healthy amount of side quests I plan to tackle after the main story each week. The growth mindset task in particular I find quite interesting as not only is it a task to help with coping the serious amounts of work I will be doing but it is also a strange deep-dive into my mindset as well, it sounds like the exact mindset I have so thats fun!

Overall my thoughts on the class assignments are very positive I can't wait to jump into the meat of this module and come out with my best possible work by the end!
