The Important Habit of Just Starting-
The Psychology of Checklists-
When it comes to time management I have always used checklists for everything, in primary school, in secondary school and now in college, at one point I even wrote my morning routine on them! Imagine ticking off mentally "Got out of bed" every morning, strange. Well, anyways, the point im making is I have always elied on checklists to manage my time without really thinking of them, even mentally when I am making plans or I know I have things to do I would say the tasks are all a part of one list in my head that im ticking off. Sometimes when I am doing tasks simultaniously I'll break them down into percentages as well which makes me feel rewarded for the progress I may make one day, for example in secondary school if i had two days to complete some particularily difficult math problem for homework, I would write the task down in my journal on both days under the maths subject title, then on the first day I might do half of the task, so I would scribble out the M and A from MATHS to signify I was roughly halfway throught this task and scribble out the rest the next day to fully check it off the list. At the end of the day I really like managing my time and making checklists to do so, it's rewarding while also a good a clear way to present work especially for different modules or classes, the one main thing i miss from secondary school was the solid and easy way to take down work in a homework journal, maybe I will invest in one for This year! (Quick Note upon completing this post, the post itself on Blogger seems to have glitched or errored in some way to the point where this very paragraph appears as tags and website jargon, if there are mispellings or errors in this text please understand it is quite difficult to proofread, further more here is a screenshot of the phenomenon in case this text is too confusing, hopefully it posts correctl as I need to write the image tags and such myself)
