My Beta is complete, it has a start, and an ending, it features no bugs as I or my testers are aware of right now, and it plays as intended, it's actually quite fun to play if I do say so myself, every now and then I find myself just moving around for the fun of it.

The final game features:

A player who must race to the end of an obstacle course were they are timed for best times. They must avoid obstacles and falling off the stages. The player is a small pink rubber, they also have the abilities to jump, wall run, wall jump and of course move around. they can also stick to a wall forever if they hold the right direction, although that's less useful than it sounds, after all the name of the game is speed. The player can run jump and climb many obstacles in the level, at minimum they are presented with 3 different paths, which converge for the ending, however with a little creativity there's technically more less intended paths. There are other features in game such as ramps, colour coded walls (if its white, its meant to be wall runned or wall jumped on) and a dart board at the end that displays "Game Over" in the debug menu to signal a successful run.

The faster of the paths is more difficult to run, of course making it more difficult for people aiming for the best time. Meanwhile the easiest path is the longest possible time to complete. The world has a simple clean look with a bright skybox and a timer up top that resets upon death. The player is also respawned at the beginning of the level each time they hit an obstacle or fall off the map.

Hello Jack, your game looks good, I like how you set out the obstacle course, it reminds me of ninja warrior. I like that how you were able to implement wall jumping and running into the game, I look forward to seeing aspect of the game. The three paths and time limit seem very interesting I also can’t wait to see that also. Would you consider implementing some time type of rotating obstacle to your game?. Overall I think your game looks very fun to play and can’t wait to see it when it’s finished.

hey jack,
great game so far , it looks like a lot of fun to play and challenging to play as well. you have some really interesting game mechanics in there such as wall run and the fact a player can stick to a wall forever if they hold the right direction . Also love that you have created 3 different paths , it adds more drama to the game as you never know which one to actually go down and i like how you have created a fair system where the fastest of paths is more difficult. the game does have a very clean and simple look which is really good since it doesn't distract the player from there main objective. Looking forward to seeing the finale game and can't wait to play it soon.

Heya Jack, This looks so sick man, I am buzzin' to try this game myself, I love the obstacle course type of game and I even made one myself kinda for my game! Love the colours you used also. It looks so clean and well presented. Best of luck for the last week of putting our games together.

Yoooo Jack, Fair play to you on getting your game fully functioning and working as you intended it to. I’m happy for you and it looks great. I think it’s cool that you have everything that you wanted completed and that you have checked for any bugs and got testers to do the same because that’s an important part of game creation, testing for bugs, etc. Haha It’s also awesome that you yourself find your game enjoyable. Well done on completing the beta of your game and hopefully I get to play it at some point or see it in action because, by the looks of it, you’ve done a great job.
